Chalet Abendrot apARTments Apartment 12

We have rented apartments in this residence 10 times since 1998. Very spacious apartments and ideal location. This time, we noticed a lack of maintenance: defective fridge, bathroom towel dryer impossible to adjust, squeaky bed. Cleaning not correct at the start: dust under the bed and behind the sofa.

Furnished rooms are better than what the photos would indicate. Easily accessible, Located within 20 meters of the Grindelwald Firstbahn bus stop. The view from our small southern balcony was fantastic. The Kitchen was fully furnished. If anything extra was needed, one simply asked the staff. At one point we required a fondue pot and the onsite staff gladly delivered one. The apartment made a perfect base location for our daily excursions and we would consider staying there again.

The apartment was functionally furnished and had a great kick of the mountains. If there's one bad thing, it's only that the balcony is continuous and faces the street. However, since we got up quite early every day, it didn't bother us as much.

well furnished, spacious apartment. Everything you need is available in the kitchen. The reception is friendly and uncomplicated. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the mountains. The Chalet Abendrot is conveniently located on a through road.

Good location. Clean and well equipped. Very friendly and courteous care.

Great proximity to gondola. Good if you need a kitchen or bedrooms. Somewhat dated interior. Does not have hotel amenities. No way to control heat other than in bathroom. Shower pressure excellent. Plenty of hot water. They need to replace the shower curtains. They stick to you when showering and are so thin the water goes thru them.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is in a good location.

The welcome and service of the key holders was excellent. We found the property a good location. Central for walks, approx. 10 mins to the train station, guest card gave free use of the local bus. We had an apartment for 2 there are larger ones available.

The apartment was lovely and felt like a home from home and had everything I needed to be comfortable. It is a little out of the very centre of town, but still very central and close to several great restaurants and the First cable car station. The staff in the office were also very friendly and helpful. The only slight drawback was that it is on the first floor right on the street across the road from one of the main parking areas, so is rather noisy. The balcony is also not very nice because there is no privacy from the street or from the neighbours in the house. Subsequently, I kept the front door closed most of the time and did not really sit outside.
