Staksholmen

A very nice and modernly furnished holiday home right on the lake with its own sandy beach and playground for children. All rooms are very spacious, but unfortunately the bathroom is very small but functional. We felt very comfortable and would recommend the house. A small electric motor for the rowboat would have improved everything even further. The landlady is very friendly and helpful. Communication in English, German, and Norwegian is very enjoyable.

The host, A., is VERY welcoming! The house has everything you need, the kitchen is top-notch, and the beds are large and comfortable. The interior, with its small, charming details, exceeds all expectations, creating a cozy atmosphere. And all around is Norway! The combination of mountains, forest, and water is incomparable. Thank you, A., for a wonderful vacation!!!

Very nice house The bathroom is very small and the washing machine is not usable The location is top The equipment of the house also electricity has to be paid extra so far so clear that also hot water preparation and water pump also was not clear to us so plan another 1000 kr

The cabin is beautifully situated on the lake, is wonderfully furnished, and offers virtually everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's a great base for exploring southern Norway and offers a wonderfully private retreat. We enjoyed rowing on the lake. The hostess is incredibly kind and easygoing – the week here was a fantastic end to a nearly four-week trip to Norway. P.S. "Washing machine" is a bit of an exaggeration (camping model).

We were able to navigate the lake easily with the two boats. The shore is very muddy for swimming. It is better to look for a rocky spot. The bedroom bed was a bit narrow for 2 people, maybe 1.40 m wide. Sheets for a double mattress would be useful! Our single sheets held up, though. The kitchen is due to be renovated soon, according to the very nice landlady. The bathroom is a bit narrow, but OK. Nice, large living-dining room. There are 3 other holiday homes to the right and left.

Holiday home in a beautiful place. Beautiful view. The living room is spacious. Sober bathroom. Fairly basic furnishings No wifi and TV only German channels. Nice wood stove. If you like peace and fishing, this is the place for you.

The accommodation was clean and adequately equipped. Very nice and quiet location. Fjord were all within a radius of 45 minutes. Gas station and shops in the immediate vicinity. The only downside, the local contact speaks neither English nor German. But with hands and feet you could finally understand each other. All in all a very nice place to stay.
