Large, authentic building, very suitable for a larger group, somewhat poorly maintained, but a pleasure to stay. Everything is there and the beds are clean and comfortable.

When our group of 7 young people and 2 adults arrived at the house, they were shocked. The accommodation was shabby, the ceilings were made of bare wooden floorboards, plasterboard or tiles. Apart from the bathrooms, nothing was as described. The highlight was Wednesday, when we had set the table in the garden for breakfast and the landlord was trimming the hedge. Grass clippings were left on the table. The result: cancellation! No go and not recommended

It is a nice characteristic house situated between an apple orchard and a horse pasture. We were allowed to come earlier, which we really appreciated. The house is very noisy but everything is there. The squash court was 6 minutes away and Ghent was 35 minutes away. On Friday and Sunday they have a free market there, super cozy city. We enjoyed a lot

Atmospheric and historic! You imagine yourself in the last century. Sleeping in a box bed, a warm kitchen with a large table and a rural character.

What a nice, authentic house. We had a great time with our large family and three dogs. It is old, but clean and offers a lot of indoor and outdoor space. The interior has a nice authentic atmosphere because of the decoration. The kids really liked the box bed. There are all kinds of nice places in the area and the garden offers enough space for a nice BBQ. We will come back again!

Beautiful house, but very dirty, beds were clean and sanitary facilities were clean. Outside dining area hadn't been swept in years and under the living room couch were sweets and crisps from the previous tenants. Electricity was also not in order , no light bulbs in the table lamp and broken sockets . But to end on a positive note , we had wonderful Easter with the children and grandchildren in beautiful surroundings .

The house is somewhat outdated, but all amenities work and are present. The house is secluded, so you will not be bothered by others. The area is beautiful and -in our case- the weather was beautiful. A great overnight stay!

We really enjoyed this beautiful house. It has a large beautiful garden and is also next to a beautiful pear orchard. 3 minutes walk away is a lake where you can swim (it was still cold in April only :)). The owner has visited us a few times and is very very nice. The kitchen has everything and it is nicely decorated, the beds are also nice and there were even two box beds! Recommended!

With the whole family and 3 dogs had a nice weekend in the apple orchard where plenty of ripe pears hung on the branches. Old but attractive house, space to light a fire outside. Bbqs and garden furniture available.

The environment is great, but the house is bad. Far too few ventilation options. The stairs are steep and the steps of the stairs uneven. In terms of fire safety, the house is unsafe, no escape routes for the people who sleep upstairs. No extraction system in the kitchen and the pans incomplete. Tap broken in the kitchen. The drains in the bathrooms do not run. No privacy in the downstairs bathroom. The house was not clean and we were asked to leave earlier due to cleaning on holiday

Had its charms, but could be cleaner.

If you like the old days (like in the open air museum), this is highly recommended. Bathroom and kitchen were well heated on arrival. Downstairs are two beautiful rooms, upstairs there is less privacy.

The house still had charm from the outside, but an impertinence on the inside. Everything old and neglected. The closet doors didn't close, but you couldn't open a window in the bedroom, kitchen or bathroom. In the living room or dining room there were simply 2 beds, there was no bedside table, lamp or socket. The cupboards in the sleeping area were filled with old stuff, so you had to live out of a suitcase, you pay 900 for 3 days - a cheek.

We had a wonderful family weekend here. It's old but very charming! Everything was there and enough space for 16 people and 2 dogs! Very clean, nice bathrooms and good beds! The stairs are a bit steep for small children so pay attention but in our opinion this house is definitely recommended!

Basic comfort is available, sufficient living space and spacious bedrooms, too little space for 18 people. in the dining room. Special atmosphere due to the old authentic building. It would have been even nicer if there were indoor toys and outdoor toys. Too bad the internet didn't work. There is still "single glass" in some rooms, and some windows do not open, so that you cannot ventilate. You really hear everything, because the rooms have thin walls. The stairs are steep, but the presence of a gate and a door allows you to keep it safe for the children.

A beautiful house with lots of character. Don't go there for the luxury or great comfort, but for the beautiful character with a nice garden in peace. Highly recommended.

Do not expect too much from this accommodation. The house is really very old. Very noisy. The kitchen is very small if you want to eat there with 18 people. The kids thought it was a haunted house. The beds were good.

Old fashioned but cozy. Steep stairs. Everything present. Proper.
