This chic little apartment is a great base in Venice. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas, standing proudly in a salmon-pink palazzetto in upmarket San Samuele. The neighbourhood – once home to Casanova – is home to antique shops and galleries, including the Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art. It’s just a short stroll from St Mark’s Square, as well as the Accademia Bridge and Campo Santo Stefano. The four-poster bed is a nice touch, though guest number three will be on a sofa bed in the open-plan living and dining space.
Home truths: *At full occupancy, one guest will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. *This home is on the second floor of the building, only accessible via stairs. It might be worth bringing a personal hotspot device with you if you know you'll need to access the internet. *You might hear some noise from your neighbours or from the street during your stay.
