Sissi San Gimignano, Tuscany

We stayed at the property for 1 week and had a wonderful time. Well located, extremely clean, great garden and a gorgeous pool. Highly Recommended!

This place met all of my expectations. It was clean, well prepared, taken care of by very friendly and helpful owners. Beautiful garden offered both sun exposure and shadow, swimming pool was sufficient for the whole group, barbecue was also very useful. All the amenities at home were ok, bathrooms were comfortable, beds as well, bedrooms spacious and easy to air. The place looks much better in reality than on pics, which is rare. Certainly worth recommending.

Friendly and efficient hosts. Perfect location. Beautiful outdoor area. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is a bit small but as a period house it has structural constraints and in any case in summer the outdoor space is certainly lived more. There is no air conditioning but it is perfectly livable having thick stone walls, just leave the windows open, meanwhile there are mosquito nets. Anyway, every room has a fan if necessary. But the area is already cool in the evening.

The kitchen on the ground floor smelled so musty that it was not possible to use it. A totally moldy wooden board was in the dishes. The electric oven on the ground floor didn't work. If you switched on the additional oven on the worktop, the FI switch was triggered - so also not usable. The fridge on the ground floor didn't work when we arrived, we were able to fix it ourselves. The apartment on the 1st and 2nd floor was fine. Likewise the pool and the garden. The handover was also good and friendly. But the kitchen on the ground floor was an impertinence! We haven't experienced this in our previous 4 houses in Tuscany!! Thank God the weather was so good that we could always eat outside and that there was a kitchen on the first floor. Overall, the rating was only moderate because of the moldy kitchen on the ground floor!

In the lower area it is unfortunately a bit damp and the beds are very hard.
