Mare e Monti

We had a very nice and relaxing holiday in the mountains in Massa/Tuscany. On our two warmest days we visited the two cities of Lucca and Pisa. Our absolute highlights of our holiday. We visited the Pizzeria Polla du Tommaso three times, highly recommended. The sea was deserted, we enjoyed the walks there with our dog. Our holiday home was very nice and the landlords were very nice. We would come back anytime, but then in the summer.

It was a very nice stay. The house matches the description, great with a dog in the fully fenced garden, great outdoor seating and a very nice view. Also super nice landlords who were always there for us, even when our car broke down and we needed help. Thank you for this wonderful vacation

The location of the house is very quiet and in the middle of the mountains. There is a pizzeria that you can reach on foot. The facilities of the house and the cleanliness are very good. Our dog was able to run around freely on the property the whole time. The garden is well fenced. The landlord couple were very friendly. We would book the house again.

The holiday home was great, very clean and in top condition. It has a very nice garden, which immediately creates a romantic and homely atmosphere. So it is great for couples. The house is also very beautiful inside and out, with stone walls and lots of wood, which makes you feel at home straight away. The owner is very friendly and very accommodating. We had a great time.

great quiet casa, detached and detached with garden, sea view and a fantastic view of the neighboring marble mountains of Carrara. Distance to the sea: about 15 minutes by car. In keeping with the Tuscan mountains, there are 42 steps to climb from the house to the street. Breathtaking view from the access road to the valley and the sea beyond. Driving experience is helpful. Very friendly landlord who quickly remedied problems (replacing the gas bottle). He speaks some English and could easily be contacted by phone. Beautiful holiday home with a view of the marble quarrying area, also suitable for dog owners. The road leads past the house, but this is set back so that the traffic didn't really bother us.
