Very good for a change of scenery, calm in the middle of the mountains. Stay away from visits to be made around this rental, especially as all roads are impassable above 50km/h. Very satisfactory welcome despite the language barrier. It's a shame that the swimming pool and barbecue are mentioned on the site even though we weren't allowed to do so.

Very clean and well looked after accommodation. Absolutely quiet location. Very suitable as a starting point for trips to the surrounding area, such as Montalcino, Siena, Piombino, Grosseto and also Rome (approx. 230 km). The supply is also acceptable with a supermarket in Roccostrada (approx. 1-2 km). Conclusion: Recommended!

Were 7 people in the two connected apartments. A retreat is very feasible due to the possibility of separating the apartment. Absolute calm! But it was certainly also due to the fact that nobody else was there on this great property. Air flights possible in all directions. If you like frills, this isn't the place for you.

The small castle is very beautiful and lovingly furnished and maintained. We spent a very nice week there.

The borgo is a bit remote, and roccastrada is certainly not the most interesting Tuscan town, but the location has a great view, is comfortable, spacious, and ideal for a nice get-together

great to be able to stay in a "castle". even though it is no longer very new (furnishing), it remains a special experience in a special place. 1 disadvantage it was almost impossible to find.

The access road is very bumpy and not suitable for lowered vehicles, but is quickly repaired after heavy rain. Otherwise great accommodation with very nice landlord family. Quaint, spacious premises and lovingly furnished rooms. Great location on the mountain overlooking the valley. The owner's father provides figs and his own wine if required. We were very satisfied.
