From the exposed wood ceilings and the rustic kitchen (you can't miss the enormous original fireplace) to the peaceful gardens, this home invites you to enjoy a slower pace of life. Relax in the pool or settle in the shade of the trees – the views over nearby Fiesole and the surrounding hills are all the distraction you need. But this home is also made for socialising, whether in the grand living room, the cosy TV den or at the alfresco dining table. It would be too easy to spend all your time in these quaint surroundings, but the historic centre of Florence is less than thirty minutes away.

*There is uneven ground and paving stones in the garden, so those with reduced mobility should take care.
