Tulipano Apartment 14 Montaione, Tuscany

Clean rental but in this period a lot of humidity in the basement bedroom and in the bathrooms. Very well received, attentive staff (additional coverage). Very nice setting, quiet and green. Location 1 hour from Pisa, Florence...

General condition of the apartment is in need of a major makeover. Limited number of glasses (7 pieces) provided and 4 forks (?). First put everything in the dishwasher to get clean. Leftover cheese and other filth lay on the kitchen floor. The room below (basement) was waking and damp, the piecework came loose. Shower was a makeshift curtain and toilet was behind it, so not functional. Swimming pool too small & too few sunbeds for number of people present. Noisy.Bad mattress.

The apartment is a bit old but still well equipped. The air conditioning is positive. The pool area is very nice and well maintained. There could only be more loungers by the pool. The manager was always friendly and helpful. The location of the property is good for trips to Florence, Pisa, Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano etc. The wifi was not very good.
