Tenuta La Colonna

For our group (2 families with teenagers) this was an ideal stay: because of the division into separate 'apartments' everyone had enough privacy. The house is a good distance from the road, but still not far from the 'civilized world'. Above all we enjoyed the swimming pool, really lovely!

The house itself is beautiful with a lovely garden. The furnishings are old and the beds are bad! There are too few items, such as glasses in the house. The lady who did the intake said, after I commented on it: people break stuff! So the house is great, the rest really needs to be better! There were 6 sunbeds and 1 parasol at the pool. After complaining, 1 parasol was added!

The home is not correctly described, but consists of three individual apartments, of which the ground floor apartment smells musty and wet. All kitchen equipment is inadequate and simple things such as red wine glasses, bowls, cutlery etc. are missing. The beds are worn out, mattresses are extremely old and put to death. Pool with defective pool bottom and thick dirty pool edge. The hostess was downright unfriendly and condescending, as well as giving grown-up scolding! Would not recommend this expensive house to anyone.

We rented the whole house and couldn't use the pool for 1.5 days. However, the landlady was not willing to give a discount. We had to pay €120 for electricity (incl. pool pump). The kitchen is unusable for cooking for 7 people. no ventilation, no storage space, not enough dishes. The furniture and fittings throughout the house are ancient and covered with ugly cloths. We paid 3000.- / week in the high season and were treated extremely unfriendly. Once and never again
