We enjoyed eight days of peace and seclusion, spent a lot of time in the pool and on the terrace with this incredible view. The highlight was baking pizza in the wood-fired oven! In the evenings, we took lovely walks even further up, including fireflies.

Location, view, pool beautiful - access with a large car adventurous - impossible with lowered cars - host family very nice and uncomplicated - kettle and 4 new coffee pots would be nice, otherwise equipment okay - barbecue area great. Overall highly recommended. We had a wonderful relaxing time!!!

The house is simply furnished, but has everything you need. The fantastic view to the sea makes up for the somewhat difficult journey. The pool was very clean, although the pump was noisy at times. The landlords were very helpful and available if necessary. It was also nice that the restaurant in Metato was within walking distance (highly recommended). Overall a wonderful holiday.

As the title says, the accommodation is in a great location, even if the access is a bit adventurous. On the property there is a grill and a pizza stone oven. We used the pizza oven several times. great pizza The grill is not recommended. Everything seems a bit filthy/run down. The house itself is ok. The furnishings are spartan, the kitchen could use an upgrade here and there. Up light switch broke off. Shower only with flood

Wonderful location with a magnificent view of the sea. The driveway requires courage, but is doable. The house is old but has everything you need. The wooden floors creak, but the beds are modern metal and don't creak. The bathroom is also complete including a bidet. The very well maintained pool is checked every 2 days and cleaned if necessary. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We always look for a rural house with privacy. Well, this house was the best so far! Don't expect posh luxury. The house has everything you need, from our perspective. The owners are open, very friendly and most helpful. So if you are looking for a quiet stay (expect some 'rural night life'), with perfect privacy, this is a great place. Please know that the road to the house could be a bit challenging if you are only used to motorways;-). A Porsche Cayenne will not make it.

It is a drama to get to the house (mountain road full of holes and boulders) but once you are there it is a place to remember! It looks exactly like in the pictures, the pool is not big but in our opinion big enough. What I missed, lighting from home to bbq and gate and screens in front of the windows, this is not at every window but for € 7.00 you can buy it in the store. And a fly curtain in front of the door. Furthermore, top place!

This was our third time staying at this property and it was very nice, as always. The view is unique and the whole ambience is unbeatable. However, some items of furniture should be checked regularly. We didn't have a pot with the coffee maker, real bed linen would be good too, because not everyone likes to cover themselves with just a sheet. The plug to the sink in the kitchen was missing two years ago. We'll definitely be back

The perfect accommodation if the kitchen equipment and the comfort of the mattresses were improved. The bathroom is to be renovated.

The house is secluded on a mountain. If you are looking for peace and solitude, this is the place for you. The view is to the sea. The house has everything you need. The contact was perfect. We really enjoyed the days here.

the positive points are the situation with the exceptional view, the calm and the tranquility, the swimming pool, the nature the negative point is the state of the very worn out furniture even dangerous. Attention the washing machine, the microwave, the hair dryer mentioned in the ad are absent No shops in Metato, plan 20 minutes of winding roads, the path leading to the house is not easy, but the calm ca must be deserved! my general impression remains quite positive and I recommend this house to holiday lovers far from the crowds!

Once you get used to the driveway (the last 500m), there is nothing wrong with this accommodation. As I said, the driveway is a bit bumpy. It could be exciting with a sports car or a lowered car. The accommodation is lonely on the mountain with no neighbors. Great view. Pure idyll. If you are looking for seclusion from everyday life, this is the place for you.

Simple but clean stone house. Great view to the sea. The house is completely isolated on the mountain and can only be reached with difficulty if you don't have an off-road vehicle. Grocery shopping in Camaiore, recommended at Marco at the roundabout (Mama Rita makes great pasta and bakes potato bread herself.

If you take the very scanty inventory of crockery, cutlery, etc. for granted, a cute house with a truly beautiful view. You have to like secluded, nearest shop 20 minutes drive. In Metato, about a km, only 1 restaurant, no other shops. Last 400m to the house is indeed a path for the very experienced driver, especially if you have a wider car, the path is very, very narrow, bumpy and with height differences. The owner is a nice man who, however, does not speak a word of English. The pool is modest in size but big enough for a refreshment, don't expect to be able to swim in it. Beds are ok. Not great, but okay. Cottage was very clean on arrival, which we also liked very much. Had a great holiday!
