You couldn’t dream up a better location for this central Florence apartment. All the must-sees, including Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and the Duomo, are footsteps away. The iconic river is also around the corner to join the locals in their favourite evening pastime – passeggiatas. Set in a historic Florentine villa of grand proportions, while the arched ceilings remain, everything else has been brought bang up to date. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms, and air conditioning is throughout. One thing to point out here – if six of you stay, the last two guests will share a sofa bed in the living room. But for a home with such an unbeatable location, we think it’s worth the compromise.

*The apartment building has shared lift access. However, the street entrance to the building has a steep step, which guests with limited mobility may find tricky.
*At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area.

*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*If you’re a fan of long showers, you might find the hot water runs out quicker here than at home.
