Lucia Cortona, Tuscany

After viewing the house we immediately drove on and looked for new accommodation. 1. The pictures on the internet are exaggerated. 2 The rooms are very small and dark. 3. Bugs on the windowsill and bed fell on our heads. 4. The landlord promised to spray the rooms. 5. The house is extremely difficult to find. 6 The swimming pool is new but there is only grass around it, no trees or shade and the water is ice cold. 7 We would advise against visiting - unless you are a small animal lover!!

Nice house with a very good room layout, also suitable for large families or two small families. Very nice pool with sunbathing area. Central location for visits to well-known, typically Tuscan/Umbrian cities such as Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo, Siena, etc. or to Lake Trasimeno. We had a wonderful holiday and would have loved to have stayed longer if we had had time. I can imagine coming back soon.

The property is of high quality with a nice small pool area for several tenants. The landlords are very nice and uncomplicated. Unfortunately, the experience suffers somewhat from the location near the railway line and expressway. The interior is also quite worn and not always functional. Overall, the place is ideal for trips to Tuscany and Umbria. Unfortunately, we were just unlucky that Lake Trasimeno had so little water that swimming was no longer recommended.

We had a wonderful holiday. Two bathrooms is ideal. Good beds! Screens on all windows, very well arranged. The swimming pool, which you share with another holiday home, is beautiful and very clean with comfortable chairs. We missed this a bit on the terrace, but that is the only downside we can think of. You can see the terrace of the other holiday home from the terrace and hear the people, but that is of course very personal whether you mind. Great house!

Everything at home was according to description, only the flight path was not !! The house is not located in the 'hamlet' of Camucia, but in the adjacent hamlet of Fossa del Lupo. Camucia is certainly not a hamlet, but a medium-sized city! So very confusing directions. The site of the house is no longer closed with a large fence, it is open day and night. Missed easy chairs on the terrace and cutlery could be of better quality. You cut your mouth on spoons. Owners super nice!!

House conforms to the description. Well equipped and spacious for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The covered terrace is very pleasant. Allows you to take all your meals outside, sheltered from the sun, even when it's hot. Although it was very hot when we were there, we didn't need to turn on the air conditioning. Very good location for visiting Tuscany. The presence of the train and a nearby bypass road may bother some people. Big pool.

The old farmhouse has been lovingly renovated and the hostess took great care of us. (Italian or English, no German). The house is in front of Cortona (great). Unfortunately, there is an expressway nearby, but that also has the advantage that you can quickly drive to your destination by car... The only thing we didn't like was the worn out sofa and chairs, as well as totally scratched pans . That was too bad. Otherwise everything was very nice and we would even go back.

Reception was good. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Owner herself does not speak English, her daughters do. Cottage itself is also fine, but the location is not ideal. There is a motorway and railway very close by. That's why the windows really have to be closed at night and then you need air conditioning, which is available for a fee.

We spent 2 weeks in this pleasant house to live in, in good taste with modern equipment. A bit of train noise at night, open windows, and a lack of electrical outlets in the kitchen are the weak points. Lovely pool and lovely hosts.
