Nestled on 25 hectares of quintessential Tuscan parkland, this villa invites you to enjoy a rustic escape. Living quarters are split between a main villa and an annexe, offering additional privacy for larger groups, but while the interiors may be characterful (including a spiral staircase), you'll probably spend most of your time outdoors. Our favourite spot in the gardens is the infinity pool, but younger guests might spend their afternoons playing ping-pong or table football. As the sun sets, you'll want to reconvene at the large alfresco dining table for a barbecue – or why not light up the wood-burning oven? Don't leave without visiting nearby hilltop towns like Pienza, or tasting local wines like the famed Brunello di Montalcino.
Home truths: *This home consists of a farmhouse with five bedrooms and an adjacent annexe with two bedrooms. While the annexe hasn't been photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay – there's parking for up to seven cars on the premises.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between the last Saturday in April and the first Saturday in October.
*Little ones should be supervised around the pool, as it is unfenced. We also recommend supervising children on the spiral staircase.
*Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms.
