High on a hill near Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo, this villa is a fantastic option for families. A self-contained annexe housing the seventh bedroom is perfect for grandparents, and there's more than enough room in the main house for the rest of the party. The garden is, of course, the biggest draw here. Spend your days swimming in the seasonal pool, enjoying sundowners on the terrace, and admiring the far-reaching valley views. Outdoorsy sorts can stroll through the surrounding olive groves and vineyards. Florence is also 35 kilometres away if you fancy an adventure further afield.

*Well-behaved dogs weighing up to 30kg are welcome.
*One bedroom and bathroom are located on the first floor of an annexe with its own entrance. The ground floor has another bathroom as well as a storage area that's not accessible to guests.
*Two beds can be converted into singles or doubles, depending on preference.
*Your host provides a free cot and high chair upon request.
*The approach road is unpaved and rocky. We suggest hiring a car with high clearance. Private parking is available.
*The swimming pool is only available to use between May and September.
*The laundry room is accessed externally.
*The traditional, dated decor here may not be to everyone's taste.
