Set high in the Chianti hills, this former retreat for travelling priests offers a restful escape in the rolling Tuscan hills. The stone villa has been lovingly restored, with private terraces and a sunny garden where you can linger over long lunches or sip a glass of wine straight from the vineyard below. Days here fall into an easy rhythm: a dip in the shared pool, a game of tennis, a stroll along woodland trails that wind through the estate. Within minutes you can reach Lecchi or Monti for simple family-run trattorias, or venture to Siena and Florence for culture and history.

Home truths:
*You'll have access to the pool and tennis court here. They're shared with the residents of the neighbouring properties. The swimming pool is only available for use between April and October. You'll need to bring your own playing equipment to the tennis court.
*One of the double beds can be converted into two singles on request.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a free cot and high chair upon request.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. The approach road to the home is unpaved and uneven, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. There's parking available onsite.
