Cerretino Tettoia

The house is located on a property with other holiday homes; there's a shared swimming pool. The hygiene in the house left much to be desired: the bathroom floor was dirty; the barbecue tongs still had food leftovers from the previous tenants hanging on them; there were cobwebs everywhere, even in the cooking pots; there was a strong damp odor in the house, and the kitchen cabinets were in dire need of a thorough cleaning. There was no information about places to visit, and guests had to figure out how to dispose of their trash themselves.

A dream location amidst the rolling hills of Chianti. Vineyards and cypress trees stand on one side, while on the other, a view of the medieval village of Castellina in Chianti, with its restaurants, ice cream parlor, and shops, is offered. Very well-equipped (mosquito nets, coffee maker, kettle, toaster). The access road has been improved – everything is problem-free. A great starting point for excursions to San Gimignano, Monteriggioni (a beautiful medieval fortress), and Siena.

Beautiful scenery, a lovely house in a pleasant setting, a 10-minute uphill walk into the very friendly village with excellent shopping facilities.

Mosquito nets on the windows would be very helpful.
