The Valluccia holiday home is a beautiful, secluded, rustic building about 200 meters away. It has everything you need. The description that Casamundo gives of the property is very outdated. Certain things should be mentioned (different sockets, no air conditioning, poor WiFi, distance of the holiday home from the main building). Otherwise, we liked it very much.

The winery is a wonderful place to relax and at the same time is well located to explore Tuscany. San Fabbiano seems to have withdrawn from here, which is why there is no longer any wine at the winery (find the mistake). The on-site support is also no longer what it used to be. N. is gone and so the support is only provided by an outside person for a few hours. M., who is listed as the contact person, is not to be found here.

House with everything you need, no frills, but in a central Chianti location with a great panoramic view. Absolutely good value for money.

Pos: -lovingly restored -kitchen well lit -induction field -design and view of the pool -extra pool towel -laundry freshly scented Neg: -no stay outside possible when it rains -green area partially neglected -rickety drying rack -little daylight in the living room -outdoor furniture partially defective (missing Slats on chairs) - the umbrella is torn and partially moldy - the outdoor seating area is not rainproof - there are too few sun loungers by the pool - the living room furniture is shabby - no sun loungers in the apartment

We spent there 2 weeks of summer holidays and were simply amazed with the surroundings, views, and ambiance. The house is nice and neat, you basically live in the vineyards so it is calm, private and close to nature. Nature is actually also trying to get inside, but no worries, nothing disturbing. The house is blessed with a very good WiFi (better than ever on tour). Appliances work well, the only issue is a bit of difficulty with the toilet pipes/flushing. Children/dog friendly, very easygoing.

As already written by other tenants before me, the house is comfortably furnished and everything you need is available in the kitchen, including a coffee machine. We liked it very much. It is also true that the facility is slowly getting on in years. Various plates already have cracks, the inventory is generally quite worn. On the other hand, the caretaker tries very hard to make sure that you feel comfortable and that everything works. She worked very hard to ensure that the hot water boiler, which was defective at the beginning, worked again as quickly as possible without any problems and also asked several times whether everything was OK. O. sei.All in all we really enjoyed the 2 weeks of vacation. But 2 points bothered us. First of all, the oven, it did heat up, but the thermostat only knew one or the other. Our buns have turned pretty black. It didn't bother me that the clock stopped working, but the thermostat is important. I also reported that. Secondly, the fireplace (we call it a fireplace) should be mentioned. The fireplace is actually much too big for the room. The real problem, however, is that there is no direct fresh air supply to the fire. Although the front door is not very airtight, you have to keep a window open so that the fire can get enough air. If you don't do that, the whole room fills up with smoke very quickly. If the fire is burning no problem. But we had relatively strong winds the whole time, so it often pushed air into the house through the chimney. The result was that there was always a strong smell of cold smoke in the living room, sometimes so strong that it made your eyes water.
