This coastal apartment is an ideal base for exploring Sicily. With a bedroom and two sofa beds in the living room, it's well-suited to families and friends who don't mind sharing. It includes a dining table for four and a little balcony with seating for two – both are great spots for sharing meals or evening drinks but there's not room for all six guests at once. The central location places you right in the heart of Balestrate, surrounded by authentic Sicilian bars and restaurants, and only a ten-minute walk from the beach. For something extra special, you can even ask your host to organise daily breakfasts or activities like hiking or 4x4 safari tours.

Home truths:
*At full occupancy, four guests will be sleeping on the sofa beds in the living room. Though there's enough bed space for six people here, we think it might feel a little cramped. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of four.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
*There are security cameras at the entrance of the building.
