Granted, while it’s not the most characterful of homes, and the sofa-bed set might not suit everyone, it makes for a practical choice. There’s parking outside, so exploring Sicily is a breeze from here. Or leave your car at home and ask your host to organise a sightseeing trip for you – they can arrange hiking and 4x4 safari excursions for an additional fee. There’s also a handy on-site café bar to grab fresh morning pastries for lazy mornings at home.
