Baita Lavu'

The location is high on a hill, reached via hairpin bends and the last bit of private road is not for the faint-hearted, but you do have a fantastic view of the lake. The garden is fenced off so safe for dogs or children. The cottage is completely in the forest, there are deer and wild boars walking around. The cottage offers basic comfort, bring mosquito spray because there are no fly screens, there is no air conditioning and the bedroom was very warm. Lovely cool stone benches under a canopy

The holiday apartment has a long drive (narrow, steep slope), but it is very quiet. There is a meeting point on arrival and the landlord drives to the apartment. Everything you need is there. The landlord is very friendly, helpful and courteous. There are only benches at the table (without backrests)

We were there at the end of March and despite the cooler temperatures at night, the pellet stove was perfectly adequate. If you are looking for peace and beautiful hiking trails, this is the place for you. The view is beautiful. The house and grounds are both very well maintained and clean. We felt very comfortable!

We were now for the second time there. And definitely not for the last time. Like four years ago with a dog. The house, the location, the possibilities to hike directly from the house. The view of the lake. Just perfect. The facility offers everything you need. And it was clean too. Super nice landlord. What more do you want.

Very nice location with a wonderful lake view. Kitchen very well equipped, otherwise rather simply furnished. Hosts are very nice and uncomplicated. You can go on many different hikes directly from the house. Unfortunately, the road up from Seestrasse is very narrow at times - we also witnessed an accident.

One of the best holiday homes we have ever visited. Great facilities, great location. Were more than satisfied. Landlords always have an open ear. Thanks again for to the family... You have a beautiful property in the mountains. Will definitely visit this cottage again.

Very nice contact, even if only in Italian. We still understood everything. The house is furnished with everything you need, even in the kitchen. The view from the terrace is sensational and priceless! We had our dogs with us and they were also very happy with the garden and the walkies. Absolutely recommendable. We will come back!!!

We have been coming to Viggiona-Trarego twice a year for 6 years and we always stay in the Baita Lavu house. In addition to the great hiking area, we also enjoy our vacation because of the beautiful location and the furnishings of the house. It is particularly worth mentioning that the very nice landlords are constantly making improvements. So this year we were surprised with a new floor and a new front door. We are already looking forward to our autumn holidays.
