Baita Lavu'

The house is very spacious, with two separate bedrooms. There's a modern open-plan kitchen in the living area, which also features a well-functioning stove, which we didn't need this time, as the weather was beautiful and warm throughout. The house has a fantastic, fully enclosed garden and a magnificent view of Lake Maggiore. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves again and would like to thank host R. and his family for their hospitality, help, and excellent service during our stay! See you soon, Hans

The house was ideal for the two of us and our dog. The fenced garden, stunning views of the lake, heavenly peace, and quiet, are all equipped with everything you need (even a salad spinner, toaster, and hairdryer). You can start walking from the house and are right in the forest. The house was spotless, and the heating was more than adequate even for the cold nights! The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it!

The location is high on a hill, reached via hairpin bends and the last bit of private road is not for the faint-hearted, but you do have a fantastic view of the lake. The garden is fenced off so safe for dogs or children. The cottage is completely in the forest, there are deer and wild boars walking around. The cottage offers basic comfort, bring mosquito spray because there are no fly screens, there is no air conditioning and the bedroom was very warm. Lovely cool stone benches under a canopy

The holiday apartment has a long drive (narrow, steep slope), but it is very quiet. There is a meeting point on arrival and the landlord drives to the apartment. Everything you need is there. The landlord is very friendly, helpful and courteous. There are only benches at the table (without backrests)

We were there at the end of March and despite the cooler temperatures at night, the pellet stove was perfectly adequate. If you are looking for peace and beautiful hiking trails, this is the place for you. The view is beautiful. The house and grounds are both very well maintained and clean. We felt very comfortable!

We were now for the second time there. And definitely not for the last time. Like four years ago with a dog. The house, the location, the possibilities to hike directly from the house. The view of the lake. Just perfect. The facility offers everything you need. And it was clean too. Super nice landlord. What more do you want.

Very nice location with a wonderful lake view. Kitchen very well equipped, otherwise rather simply furnished. Hosts are very nice and uncomplicated. You can go on many different hikes directly from the house. Unfortunately, the road up from Seestrasse is very narrow at times - we also witnessed an accident.

Very nice contact, even if only in Italian. We still understood everything. The house is furnished with everything you need, even in the kitchen. The view from the terrace is sensational and priceless! We had our dogs with us and they were also very happy with the garden and the walkies. Absolutely recommendable. We will come back!!!

We have been coming to Viggiona-Trarego twice a year for 6 years and we always stay in the Baita Lavu house. In addition to the great hiking area, we also enjoy our vacation because of the beautiful location and the furnishings of the house. It is particularly worth mentioning that the very nice landlords are constantly making improvements. So this year we were surprised with a new floor and a new front door. We are already looking forward to our autumn holidays.
