Despite a small footprint, Saguaro makes great use of the space it has. The mezzanine creates a feeling of openness while the colours brighten the place. We also really liked Iacopo, who we found really patient and helpful (even for a Plum host). The area is an interesting one, and depending on your point of view, could be considered a downside, as it’s a bit out of many of the main tourist hotspots. It is, however, an opportunity to experience Rome as a Roman would, free from the crowds and vendors.
Home truths: *Even though the apartment's on the ground floor, you have to go up and down some steps to reach the front door
*The shower doesn't have a door, just a curtain
*Guests 3 and 4 will be on a sofa bed in the living room
