The unique piece in Mirror Peach is the family tree, sketched on the wall, tracing the inhabitants of the palazzo for over one hundred years. It’s a beautiful way of tying the modern redesign (spearheaded by Alda Fendi and French architect Jean Nouvel) to the rich past that the building already has. The present, though, feels robust enough to stand up to that history. Staying here is an exercise in luxury – there’s even a menu from which you can choose your ideal pillow.
Home truths: *As this is a serviced apartment, if you're after the feeling of a lived-in home, you won't find it here
*Your host owns multiple apartments within this building, so the exact view, furnishings and layout might differ from the photos, but the size and standard will be the same
*This is a studio apartment so it isn't very big
*The modern, industrial design isn't what you'd think of as classically Roman
