Edoardo looks after a few places in the same building, so in a sense, it’s not a dissimilar experience to a hotel, albeit with the autonomy afforded by an apartment. The location is Ambrosia's calling card – it’s on a beautiful street in the very heart of the medieval city. It’s the perfect area for strolls, and there’s a restaurant and a wine bar on every street corner.
Home truths: *While there is a sofa bed, we wouldn't recommend using it, as the flat is very small, and it's in the same room as the main bed
*You'll have to take the stairs to the first floor – there's no lift
*It can get quite dark in the flat
*The kitchen's generally well-equipped, but it doesn't have a dishwasher
