In fact, the outdoor space might be the best thing about this practical apartment – the sunny terrace has a small dining table, where you can enjoy meals with a sunset view of the Vatican. The location is also handy for exploring nearby destinations – San Pietro station is just down the road, where you can catch trains to Civitavecchia and even Florence. On this side of Rome, you're also off the tourist trail, so you can experience restaurants and cafes as the locals do.
