Robin’s Roost consists of a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a dining area seating four people, a sitting room with a Smart TV and an electric fire, a external utility with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The bedrooms consist of a double with a en-suite, and a twin with a en-suite. Outside there is a shared enclosed garden with lawn, gravel and furniture, and off-road parking for 4 cars. Sorry, this is a pet-free, smoke-free property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Robin’s Roost a suitable base to enjoy the countryside in Cornamona, County Galway. Note: This property can only accept Wednesday & Saturday arrivals, Please do not book to arrive for any other day.

Area
Located on the northern shore of the famous Lough Corrib, the village of Cornamona, County Galway is a popular site among trout and salmon anglers. Situated at the centre of the Joyce Country Mountain and Lake Districts, the village is set in one of the most scenic areas of Ireland. Cornamona is located in a Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) region, although the friendly locals will be happy to help if English is your mother tongue. On the doorstep of beautiful North Connemara, the Killary Fjord and Renvyle Peninsula, the village is home to a shop, pub and Post Office along with a children's playground. Just a short drive are the towns of Clonbur, which offers a selection of shops and pubs, and the picturesque village of Cong, famed as the location for ‘The Quiet Man’ and home to Ashford Castle.

Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes. The Galway region epitomises the term ‘great outdoors’; with fantastic walking and cycling and exhilarating water sports.
