We have a library area with books, DVDs, playing cards and board games. Also a Welcome Folder with lots of local info, ‘Things to do’, ‘Places to Visit’ and maps. Golf set available.
Let us know if you require equipment for baby, elderly and disabled (no charge). If you are 'working from home' you are welcome to borrow our printer!

Stroll the popular walking route through bog lanes past Lough Inch to Barna Golf Course. A designated 'Gaeltacht' area. Beaches, shops, award-winning restaurants, horse-riding are all within easy reach. Salthill 10 mins drive - offers watersports, funfair, nightclubs. Galway City 15 mins.

CO. GALWAY: The Cottage is on the doorstep of the acclaimed 'Connemara' region. This area of west Galway extends out to the islands and is known for its stone-walled fields, thatched cottages, boglands, unspoiled beaches & native Irish speakers. Take the coast route through Spiddal, Inveran, and on to Ros-a-Mhil to catch the ferry to the Aran Islands, or travel the 'lakes' route through Oughterard (famous for salmon fishing & castle), Maam Cross, past the Twelve Pins Mtns to the busy market town of Clifden and on to the Connemara National Park & Renvyle or even to Inishbofin Island. There are many golf courses nearby (only a short walk to the Barna Golf Course). Explore The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Aillwee Caves, Coole Park, Thoor Ballylee... Visitors to the area can enjoy fishing, wonderful scenic and historic walks and sea sports.
