Unfortunately there was little snow, but snow is guaranteed in the white valley on the Zugspitze. In Grainau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen there are great hiking trails, numerous sights and shops. The New Year's jump was an experience. The apartment is very well equipped and the landlady is nice and helpful. The whole family felt good.

Excellent base for holidays in Bavaria! Garmisch is very charming, the view of the mountains from the apartment is very beautiful; Easy access to Munich by train. Castles and romantic roads nearby. The owner is adorable, the apartment bright and warm, newly equipped, very well heated and quiet!

Apartment was great, enough space and everything you need for a holiday. The Franke family are very nice landlords and always had good hiking tips for us. Location is ideal for excursions, meals and use of the ÖVM. We could almost always leave the car at home. We liked it very much.

Very large apartment, well located. Alpspitze, Zugspitze and other excursions are easily accessible by bus, which stops right in front of the property. Very nice and helpful landlady We would love to come back

We were there for the second time after September/October 2018. The Franke couple is very warm and hospitable. The apartment is great and super divided. In the middle is the living area from which you can access all the surrounding rooms. There is so much you can do and plan from Grainau and the outdoor pool in Grainau is even free. Zugspitze, Alpenblick as a combination ticket and Partnachklamm are in the immediate vicinity. Supermarkets and bus & train to Garmisch are within walking distance

Spacious and well-equipped holiday apartment, friendly reception by the house owner. Accommodation is very good as a starting point for hikes, bus stop around the corner - the car could stay.

The location of the house is ideal for someone who likes peace and the apartment with 3 bedrooms is big enough. 3 minutes walk to bus stop and 6 minutes to shopping. The landlady is very nice and accommodating.

A really beautiful, lovingly furnished large apartment. Enough space for 6 people. In the middle of the apartment, the large dining area from which all rooms lead is a great meeting place for everyone to eat, play, etc. The landlords were very warm and open-minded, we felt very welcome. Absolute recommendation from us!
