Roumagnac Cavalaire, Provence-Alps-French Riviera

A really great house. Nicely laid out and spacious. Ideal for a large family or several couples. Superbly equipped kitchen. You don't really miss anything. The icing on the cake would be a pool, there is enough space on the property! Unfortunately, we initially found ourselves in front of the wrong house because I used the Google Maps coordinates, which are unfortunately incorrect. The address given on the documents is correct, however. A car or bicycle is required.

The house has never been renovated, refreshed since its construction. Very old doors and windows, no mosquito net, artificial cemetery alike flowers in impressive quantities in the leaving room. No responce from the owners when smth is not working. Sanitary wear is in absolute decay. Very good terrace and view. Location is perfect. And the last: the toilet, prehistoric system of water evacuation- the water with the result of the visit almost flows out on you, before its total evacuation.

We liked the Roumagnac cottage...but the house could do with modernization, which would certainly increase the (feel-good) value. Unfortunately there were only 2 halfway usable sun loungers, the others were broken and rusty behind the house... The filter coffee machine was still filled with moldy old coffee! well...?! The sofa is old and covered with disgusting stains. Protective covers for the beds were not available. The new electric stove is better than the old gas.

Beautiful house in a quiet area and very beautiful view. A reserve for the sanitary facilities which are limited.

Quiet location - practical facility

Upon arrival the house was not cleaned well. The forecourt was covered in leaves of animal droppings & cigarette butts were on the porch. Nobody had cleaned there since last fall. At our request, something was cleaned, but unfortunately not the forecourt, we had to do it ourselves. There was also no free WiFi, which is incomprehensible at the moment. Otherwise nice house with a wonderful veranda (shady), quiet and good for our family with small children. We would recommend it.
