Les Tourteaux La Tranche-sur-Mer, Pays de la Loire

The plan was to spend a relaxing week here. Unfortunately, this was not possible due to the construction work in the immediate vicinity. The renovation work started at 7 a.m. from Sunday to Friday. Some of the kitchen equipment was no longer in good condition and replacing broken cutting boards and blunt knives seemed sensible. The shower head was leaking and sprayed water over the shower wall into the bathroom, the boiler overflow was leaking but was described as OK.

Bathroom could be a bit more spacious. 1 mattress is sagging and needs to be renewed. Nothing else to criticize: cozy house, garden well finished, ideal for our dog. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

it is completely unclear how to deal with household waste. The instructions on an A4 sheet are incomprehensible and only in French.

Comfortable house in a quiet, peaceful location.

We liked the quiet location and the proximity to the beach at 350m. Depending on the time of day and the position of the sun, we could use the terrace with chairs in front of or behind the house. Two loungers were available in the garage. The organization on site was impeccable. Unfortunately I could not establish a secure internet connection.

The house is a bit dated and neglected, but everything you need for a holiday is there, both in the house and on the terrace. The bathroom could definitely be modernized a little, a nice new mirror with shelf and towel holder would certainly not be a big expense. But overall the house is okay if you don't have too high expectations.
