Capama Apartment 2 Mimizan, Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Beautiful location with a view of the sea, priceless. Everything is within easy reach without a car. A dream for sunset lovers. I keep reading about the famous paper factory and its unpleasant taste, this is the second time I have been to Mimizan Plage and it doesn't smell at all! On the contrary, they make a lot of effort to keep the town and the beach clean and well maintained.

As the apartment is located in the attic of a house, the direct view of the sea is not hidden by the dune, which is the case for most of the rentals next door. Ideal for relaxing in peace with a Leclerc on Mimizan beach 5 minutes walk away. The apartment deserves some renovations but its geographical location means that I recommend it.

The apartment is located directly on the road behind the dune to the beach. On the balcony, you could enjoy the sunrises and look over the place while having breakfast. In the evening you could see the sunsets through the picture window. The facility was in good condition, well maintained and functional. The beds have comfortable mattresses, extra blankets and pillows are available. A modern induction hob and an oven with included microwave and grill can be found in the kitchen

Panoramic sliding doors to the ocean were really great. Otherwise like in an attic. Furniture very old and worn. Crockery in a living room cupboard from the 1960s. The shower was new, but the shower itself, measuring 0.80 x 0.80 m, was different from the total area of approx. 4 mx m. The shower door could only be opened about 70 cm, since a bidet (why?) was installed in front of it. Antenna cable torn out, receiver dead, TV unusable. Washing machine only accessible under the roof in a stooped position.

Entire apartment exactly as described and seen in the photos. From the living room dining table you look at the dunes and the sea while drinking coffee. Beautiful sunsets. We'd love to come back. Unfortunately, WIFI and the toaster didn't work, but those are only deductions in the B grade.

Very comfortably furnished (lots of wood :)) and in the best location with a view of the sea. You practically fall out of the apartment onto the beach. Coffee machine, kettle, washing machine, etc. everything is available, you can walk to town in 5-10 minutes. We spent a wonderful 3 weeks with a small child here.
