Le Clos Velin

We booked this house with two families with children. The house itself was spacious, but had a few minor issues here and there. The garage door wouldn't open, and the skirting boards in the kitchen were coming loose. Spacious rooms (though full of a mess of cabinets you couldn't use), and two beautiful bathrooms! The coffee machine worked with a specific type of pod you couldn't find in any nearby shops. The garden was very spacious with plenty of space to sit and relax. The pool was cold and not really heated!

The house is spacious, very clean and is located in a quiet area on a street that is only for residents. It is fully equipped. The reception and the contact with the key holder was very nice; good communication, a very nice couple and very willing with tips for activities etc. The town of Vannes nearby is beautiful and there are many castles and beautiful beaches nearby to enjoy.

The property was well presented and nicely situated to explore Vannes and The Bay of Morbihan. Unfortunately some requirements were not appropriate for holiday makers who had paid generously for a comfortable stay: 1. We had to make up our own beds on arrival. 2. Understandably we were asked to leave the property clean and tidy, which we did, but having to ensure that the outdoor “wheely-bins” were completely empty is too much to ask. 3. Quality of the beds and bedding was poor.
