The village of East Grinstead rests in the south of England, between the town of Crawley and the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is home to a selection of local pubs and tasty eateries, for example La Farola and The Railway Pub, as well as a selection of shops and convenience stores where you can stock up on essentials. Find out more about the village in the local museum, or head out for a hike amongst the stunning scenery of the High Weald AONB, ideal for nature lovers. Here you will find many trails, including Ashdown Forest and Forest Way Country Park. History enthusiasts will be delighted to find Hever Castle and Gardens and Hammerwood Park, plus many more historic sites to visit. For more amenities and attractions head over to the town of Crawley, where there are more shops, pubs, a local museum and park, as well as a golf course where you can try out a game or two. Alternatively take a train to London and sightsee the many well-known locations, or a trip to the coast via train at Brighton.
