Steyning is popular and is ideally situated for exploring the glorious South Downs and the ancient village of Bramber (1 mile) with its castle ruins. Close by are the seaside towns of Shoreham by Sea (5.5 miles), with its lovely beaches, and Brighton (13 miles) with seaside attractions and an array of shops. There is also a regular local bus service to both destinations. Arriving at the cottage, you enter via a little pathway that leads past the lawn to the patio, which is a lovely sheltered spot to enjoy the sun and relax with a book and a glass of something chilled. Entering through the garden room, you reach the charming period sitting room. Cosy and welcoming, it has a comfortable sofa, an armchair, and a tucked away chaise longue, perfect for relaxing after a busy day whilst catching up with your favourite movie on the Smart TV with Netflix.
