Settled in the centre of the attractive and unspoilt village of Wetton, hidden deep in the Derbyshire Dales. Close to the property there is a local pub, a 14th century Church and a lovely tea room which provides welcome refreshments. The Manifold Valley has some of the most spectacular scenery in the Peak District and is rich with wildflowers, butterflies and birds. Discover Thor's Cave, a natural cavern set in the hillside with lovely views. Visit the historical spa town of Buxton for a spot of culture and meander through the array of shops. Chatsworth House, Carsington Water and Alton Towers are all within easy reach. The cottage has that warm, cosy cottage feel with period features such as beamed ceilings and stone fireplaces which give lots of character, just what you'd expect from an old cottage in the Peak District. On arrival, enter the cottage via the kitchen, take off your boots and coats which can be taken through to the utility room to dry off on wet days. The country style kitchen is well equipped for all your culinary needs, rustle up a home cooked breakfast or dinner on the electric range style cooker. All the other home appliances can be found including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A washing machine and additional freezer is in the utility room. Head into the sitting room to relax after a long day rambling, watch a film on the Smart TV on the comfy sofas or read a book in front of the log burning fire. When dinner is ready, gather around the table in the dining room which comfortably seats everyone, great for celebrations or planning your next days adventures. When it's time for bed, upstairs provides three spacious bedrooms, all ensuring you a good nights rest. There is a super king size zip and link (Can be made up as a twin on request) bedroom with built in wardrobe and private en suite shower room hidden behind the wardrobe, a king size bedroom and a bunk bedroom. Completing the accommodation is the family bathroom with free standing bath, separate shower and WC. The garden at the back of the cottage is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sun go down with a glass of wine. There is off street parking for two cars beside the property
