Most significant of these is The Fossor, which is made entirely of digger parts and is a powerful representation of JCB. Rocester is halfway along the Staffordshire Way which runs the length of Staffordshire and is also at the start of the Limestone Way which goes to Matlock. Close to Rocester is the lovely market town of Ashbourne, and just a short drive away is Alton Towers, with fun for all the family. Explore either the Staffordshire or Derbyshire part of the Peak District National Park with historic houses, market towns, moorland, rolling hills and valleys, all easily accessible from Rocester.
