At Eyebrook Reservoir, only a stone's throw from your door, you can even settle in for a day of trout fishing. Peaceful but still well-connected and with plenty of farmhouse charm and comfort, this barn – with a fire pit and a picnic table overlooking swaths of green – does pretty well for itself. Your host can also arrange a hot tub to take your stay to the next level.
