This is a lovely development of holiday cottages, quite private from the owners property, but they are there if you need them.. The people staying in the other two cottages were very nice which we appreciated, as you are on top of one another so to speak.
We arrived to a generous welcome pack, wine, chocolates, cake, dog treats, plus coffee tea & milk so we could have a cuppa on arrival, as our Sainsbury's delivery would not be arriving until a bit later. Lovely flowers on the table also. Although surrounded by lovely countryside it is well placed for a quick drive down to Chipping Norton, the Aldi there is very handy. Great Tew is just down the road but we would not have walked there as all on the lane and cars did seem to drive quite fast along there. Also you can get to Broadway Tower (a must), and all the North Cotswold towns easily. Whichford Pottery is nearby.
As regards cottage, it's very nicely fitted out, comfortable furnishings, very good appliances. The twin bedroom would benefit from some hooks to hang clothes on, had to use door frames and handles. Altogether a successful week.
