Rothbury rests on the north bank of the River Coquet, and is dominated by the Simonside Hills. This lovely market town enjoys close proximity to Northumberland's National Park making it a great base for walkers. Expect to see stone houses lining the town's main streets with shops, pubs and cafés on offer here, along with a golf course, tennis courts and cycle hire available close by. Just a stone's throw away is Cragside, the Victorian inventors house and the Northumberland Country Zoo.
