Head into the National Park for Kielder s expansive water and forest park and Hadrian s Wall for Roman Forts and fascinating history. Visit Hexham s market town for a day at the races and historic Corbridge for Roman relics, independent shops, and renowned eateries. Drive to Rothbury s Cragside House and then on to sandy beaches at Bamburgh on the Northumberland coast. Access to the hut is via the manor house s side garden gates and, as you walk towards the property, you will pass two of the four seating areas available to you during your stay, where you can relax in the sunshine or lie star gazing at night. Walk up the three steps into this cosy and welcoming shepherd s hut to find a sofa that slides down to make your double bed for night time and you can slide it back in place for daytime seating if you prefer. The wood burner will keep you toasty when you want it and clever storage houses everything you need to cook your meals, including an induction hob, small multi cooker, microwave and small fridge. An oil heater also provides additional heating. After washing up, you can cover the sink with its wooden top and make use of the work surface again. There are two comfortable dining chairs and a small wall table where you can enjoy your morning coffee with a DAB radio for entertainment. The separate shower room with WC is close by within your garden. Head outside for al fresco breakfasts and evening meals sitting at the garden table and chairs and take in those amazing views. There is another patio table and chairs near the fire pit where you can enjoy your favourite drink after a BBQ and gaze up at the inky black sky. Say hello to the friendly alpacas in the field at the end of the garden. There is off road parking for up to three cars on the private, gravel drive shared with the Byre which is located in a separate area.
