Duns Castle is well worth a visit, a romantic castle in a beautiful, natural setting, with well-marked woodland and lakeside walks through the estate. Venture on a short trip up to Eyemouth to feed the resident harbour seals and enjoy the award-winning fish and chips, or take a boat trip for some coastal exploration. This is a great base for exploring the beautiful Scottish Border region together with the picturesque coast and countryside of Northumberland.
