A well equipped, thoughtfully developed range of farm buildings provided a very comfortable stay. So close to very many interesting places to visit and eat. Quiet location. Quirky because of the free range ducks, turkeys, doves and geese wandering around. The owner was so helpful and welcoming . Large scale map on the wall was a great help to navigate around . They have thought of everything to make a home from home.. loved every minute of stay. We'll be back!

The cottage was OK and was well equipped.. The only comment I would make is that it could do with a proper shower otherwise everything was acceptable.

Very pleasant and comfortable small cottage.. No garden, but a small yard with a picnic table, next to the stream. Plenty of parking nearby. Good WIFI/Internet. Bathroom has bath but no real shower, which was was the only thing we at all missed. Interesting collection of fowl (muscovy ducks, turkeys, etc.) plus rabbits wandering around outside, which we enjoyed. Belford itself is a very good base for North Northumberland - large enough to have a good supermarket (within easy walking distance of the cottage) and a few places to eat and drink, but not large enough to be noisy, and only a couple of minutes drive from the A1. All in all, a very good stay.
