Cherryburn Cottage is an attractive stone, single-storey cottage tucked away in the village of Akeld near Wooler, Northumberland. Made up of two bedrooms including a double and a twin, this cottage can sleep up to four guests. The bedrooms are serviced by a bathroom, and the cottage is then complete with a kitchen and a living/dining room. Outside there is ample off-road parking for guests. Cherryburn Cottage is a splendid choice for a small family getaway to the Northumberland countryside.

Set in the luscious open fields of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is a quintessential market town offering a fantastic base for any self-catering stay. Within reaching distance of the glorious coast whilst surrounded by an abundance of woodland walks, visitors will be spoilt for choice. There's much fun to be had in the nearby towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed, whilst the village itself can be found hosting a good selection of shops and a handful of pubs and restaurants.
