Canny Cottage is a mid terrace stone cottage situated in the village of Belford in Northumberland. Hosting two bedrooms and a wet room, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a utility, kitchen and sitting room. To the rear of the property is off road parking for 1 car and a lawned garden to the front and rear. Situated in a peaceful location with countryside surroundings, 5 Station Cottages is a welcoming retreat in a wonderful part of England.Property does not have a cot or a highchair. Please note dogs are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms

Please note: Check in days are strictly Monday and Friday. One King size bedroom and one double bedrooms. Shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Ground floor utility. Sitting room with woodburning stove.

The Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The coastal village of Bamburgh, with its beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and a nine-hole golf course. It is ideally placed for exploring the Northumbrian Coastal Route, Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline.

Loverly Cottage, nice lounge and comfortable beds. The open fire was a bonus and would will visit again. Great center for visiting the many attractions close by. We’re worried we could not fill a week but could happily have filled a fortnight. do arounnd had a great week.accomadation is excellent and owner checks all is ok. WiFi was a bonus.. Proximity to the train line. Caused no problem in fact was a bonus and loverly views to front and back. Really pleased

The advert mentioned the cottage was near the railway lines and that you could hear the trains - and we actually enjoyed listening out for them.. We were however a bit disappointed that the very 'ugly' huge grain store facility next door was omitted from the description and the photograph. The cottage was beautiful inside and very cozy.

We had a wonderful time at canny cottage! Very clean and modern, comfortable beds, well equipped with everything you could need and set in a lovely location. Plenty of nice walks and places to visit in the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend.

The cottage is beautiful with everything you need to stay for a holiday, in a prime position for Bamburgh and the beautiful beach and coastline which we love .. Log burner is small , we took our own wood and a lot didn’t fit in it , but it warmed the room up lovely, everything else inside was high quality Only one draw back , the trains ! They are very regular and you can here them in the cottage , especially early morning 5am onwards . Also there is a small railway dept there and when we stopped they were working nights and we could here them , we thought we were being burgled first night

We really enjoyed staying at Canny Cottage.. It was really cosy and close to excellent dog friendly beaches. We hope to stay again next year.

Lovely cottage ideal location for exploring the area.. We used to visit the area often we used to live in the North East so very familiar with the area, so the property was located close to the beach and also to the Northumbrian countryside. As holiday cottage owners ourselves we know what is important for visitors and I would say that this cottage was very comfortable and met expectations. The views are lovely from both front and back windows. Very comfortable and spacious for 4 adults. There was only two of us and two dogs who settled in very quickly. Thank you to the owns for ticking lots of boxes.

Canny cottage was lovely and had everything we needed.. Very clean spacious and comfortable. Even the dogs settled and they like to be at home usually. My only little gripe was the trains passing, I knew we were near a railway line but just didn't realise how near. This was fine except for early in the morning.

We had a lovely holiday.. The cottage was great and very well decorated. Very good location for visiting Bamburgh and also getting onto the A1. Would loved to have stayed longer!

WOW!!! ! Amazing cottage!!!! Everything you need in a home from home!! Loved everything about this cottage, will definitely be booking for next year!!! The decor is ultra modern, just amazing!!! Even the dog was happy!!! Lol!!! My nephew loved the trains!! Train track at side of cottage,didnt spoil the holiday,was a good alarm clock!! Lol!!! Will be recomending to friends and family. 100 % accurate in description on website,did not dissapoint!!! Loved it!!!!

Absolutely fantastic stay everything catered for and the owners have thought of everything,from dog bowls to washing up liquid.. Clean and tidy 5 star ,we have stayed at many places but this is definitely top,of the list. Will definitely be booking again.
