Great property with with lots of charm.. Location is ideal for walking. Only downside is downstairs bathroom and steep stone staircase if you have a mobility problem. Otherwise perfect!

The cottage was lovely - it was very clean and comfortable and had everything that we could possibly need.. The view from the patio was very picturesque. The owner was very helpful and recommended lots of places to visit, eat, walk etc If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful cottage with brilliant amenities- more than you could ask for! So much thought has gone into this cottage and it made a lovely week’s stay. The area is wonderful too.

The cottage was in a lovely location and really well furnished.. Garden to sit in, and enjoy morning coffee. Easy to walk from the cottage and we barely used the car. Lots of lovely pubs and restaurants, but also well equipped to cook at home.

This is our second time at this cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. The property is very well furnished and equipped, and very comfortable with good views down the valley. It is in an excellent location for local walks. The only slight drawbacks are the steep stairs to the bedrooms which could be a problem for the infirm, and the narrow road to the property for those with wide vehicles. These however did not spoil our stay and we would definitely recommend the cottage.

A truly comfortable cottage with all mod cons.. Home from home. Stunning views. Village shops and pub within walking distance. A perfect base for both walking and day trips exploring the Dales. You do need to be able to manage steep stone stairs to the comfortable bedrooms upstairs. Also if you need the toilet in the night the bathroom is down those same steep stairs. There is a very narrow lane to drive up in order to reach the cottage and parking place. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there and would return.

We had a great stay in Swift Cottage.. The cottage was well equipped, cosy, clean and in a great location within easy walking distance of the local town, shops and amenities. Walks starting from your door too. Probably the best cottage we stayed in.

We had a wonderful week in Swift cottage.. The cottage is well equipped and very cosy. The cottage location is peaceful with fantastic views over Pateley Bridge and the surrounding area. The location makes it easy to visit Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks. Both places a must see. A lovely welcome of cake and wine was indeed a treat. My only negative comment is that it would be helpful to have a supply of toilet rolls available for guests rather than just one!

Cannot fault the beautiful cottage, the cleanliness, all the little extras for home comfort.. The location is beautiful. The local shops & restaurants are just a couple of minutes walk from the door, but the cottage is set back enough to be seculded & quiet. Pateley Bridge itself is a lovely little town & the walks all around the surrounding fells are stunning & well worth doing. All in all a fabulous holiday for me & my brother. We hope to return. Many thanks

The cottage was ideally situated close to the facilities of Pateley Bridge but in a peaceful location overlooking the town.. Beds and sitting areas were comfortable, which was good as we were walking the Nidderdale Way and were in need of a rest each evening! We'd have liked a freezer, as there's an excellent butcher in Pateley Bridge and we could have frozen meat to bring home. Also parking is quite tight at the back - might be a problem if visitors have a big car. But very minor quibbles.

Had very nice week, the cottage was ideally situated for local shops and restaurants and walks.. Try the chicken sausages from Weatherhead butchers on the High St. Will return for another holiday

Thoroughly enjoyed the week at Swift Cottage, which was very comfortable and well equipped.. Good location for local walks. The only potential problem, which could affect those with larger vehicles, was the very narrow approach road up the hill to the cottage. Care has to be taken. This however did not detract from a lovely week in the cottage. We hope to return.

Steep narrow vehicle access.. Steep stone staircase. Bedrooms upstairs with bathroom down stairs. Not suitable for the infirm.

Ive never stayed anywhere that has felt so much like home.. The cottage was so well equipped, it had all the essentials and so many little touches which made our stay so comfortable. I would say this has been my favourite holiday and the cottage is one of the main parts of it. Would definately recommend to anyone and i have no doubt we will be coming back.

Lovely cottage , tastefully decorated and with everything you could possibly need for a holiday! Very thoughtful touches throughout the house .Arriving in the evening to a freshly baked cake and bottle of wine was a lovely surprise! Superb views and a short walk in to Pately Bridge. The owner was extremely helpful too when I called her. A lovely week here , and the open fire was a lovely touch too. Would highly recommend and hope to return for another holiday too.
