This selfcatering accommodation is very well cared for, complete kitchen, good matrass on the bed, comfortable sittingroom with woodstove. A surprising welcome was found in the fridge: wine, cheese and a fruitcake. Thank you!
But beware of the fact that the cottage is part of an active farm with farming life, so flies, smell, tractor noise, etc.and the views are blocked by waste bins and your parked car right in front of your window. So the picture on the website doesn't comply with the real situation . At the back, in view from the kitchen window there is a dog pin with 2 pitiable sheepdogs who sit there most of the time being bored en anxiously waiting for attention and exercise. A sorry view.. So that, and the bad weather, spoiled our stay somewhat. Nevertheless we enjoyed the gorgeous surroundings, a perfect spot to explore the Dales.
