This is a lovely comfortable Cottage.. It had been newly decorated and felt very fresh and clean.A group of us and our dog had a lovely Christmas stay here. There are three warm and comfortable bedrooms on the second floor, with a nice toilet / bathroom. There is a another toilet downstairs too.The Kitchen is spacious with a dining area and is very well equipped.Waddleduck is about a half an hours very pleasant walk from the centre of Whitby. If you fancy a change from Whitby, you can stroll down to The Bridge Inn at Ruswarp. This takes about twenty-five minutes and we would thoroughly recommend this as you'll get a warm welcome, and they serve excellent food and beers. The owner of the Cottage,Mrs. Bowles was very helpful and sent us some chocolates and a bottle of wine,on our arrival. We would certainly stay here again.Thank you John Clough.

Really lovely holiday home, a nice size and great location near enough to whitby to be close to the action but also secluded enough for some peace and quiet.. Great pub, butcher and grocers shop at Ruswarp.

The cottage is very nice indeed, and in a lovely location. We found the views exceptional, and there were good walks, Whitby is only a 1 and a 1/2 mile walk down the cinder track over the viaduct.
