The Old School House is an end of terrace property located in the seaside town of Scarborough, near the North York Moors. Hosting two bedrooms; a double and a twin, along with a large family bathroom including a bath with shower over, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside there is also a kitchen, dining room, and sitting room with woodburning stove. There is a small balcony with bench seating for two, and on-road parking available. The Old School House is a beautiful property, full of character and in a perfect location to explore this historic coastal town. PLEASE NOTE: This property is only able to accept short breaks beginning and ending on a Monday or a Friday (Mon-Fri, Fri-Mon).

Scarborough is located on the North East coast of England, and is a popular seaside town since the Victorian times, complete with a historic castle overlooking the town, original Victorian architecture, parks and gardens. There are two beaches - North Bay and South Bay - both comprising of long stretches of sandy beach which are very popular for tourists. Nearby is the North York Moors National Park, a stunning example of the natural and unspoiled English countryside.

Stayed in thos home from home for 3 weeks and we loved every minute.Spotlessly clean and in a perfect position for getting out and about. Bus to the italian gardens and rose garden a few hundred yards away drops you right beside them ( number 10 to Cayton ).Lovely gift welcoming pack of Wine,chocolates,biscuits and even cream cakes in the fridge. Loved it so much we've already booked for next year.Been visiting Scarborough for years and this is without doubt the best house we've stayed in

The old school house is in the middle of the old town less than a 5 minute walk to the harbour and sea front. Also less than 5 minutes to the shops and old market hall where you can get a full English breakfast with a mug of tea for £4.50. The property is very well maintained, spotlessly clean and everything is well cared for and appears nearly new. There was a welcome pack which included tea, coffee, biscuits, wine, bottle of local ale and cream cakes and a bottle of milk in the fridge. The lifeboat fish bar is less than 5 minutes walk away which we can recommend. The castle is about 10 minutes walk. Parking is on street with parking permits for the full week left for you on the table, you will get parked but probably have to walk 100 yards or so to the property. We would definitely stay again and certainly recommend it to friends and family.

Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean! The owners - Michelle & Tim - were really helpful and included lots of thoughtful touches in the property (such as milk & Yorkshire Tea on arrival). The location was ideal for the beach/sea-front, it really is only 2 minutes walk. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.
