A well presented ground floor cottage on a self catering accommodation site in the pretty village of Newton on Rawcliffe. The village is on the cusp of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, just 4 miles from the popular town of Pickering. Within the village is a family run 18th century inn serving bar food and real ale (check for opening times), surrounded by endless walking and cycling routes over moorland and through woodland. Dalby Forest is 17 miles distant, or head to the coast (22 miles) and the possibility of strolls with gorgeous views or energetic hikes with dramatic scenery. This is an attractively furnished ground floor apartment. Other than the single step to get into the barn, there are no further steps. Heading through into the open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, the kitchen is fully equipped should you want to rustle up a hearty meal. There is a Smart TV in the lounge area so you can snuggle up on the sofa and watch a film in the evening. There are two bedrooms, a double and a triple bunk room, both with plenty of storage space, and a bathroom next door which has a shower over the bath. Externally, there is an enclosed garden and you have direct access out to a paved patio with benches where you can dine alfresco. If you fancy a dip in the pool, across the courtyard is a communal pool house with a sauna and hot tub, the perfect way to de stress.
