A really out the way quiet place, enjoyed our week stay, very handy for visiting loads of local places around, Gary left us a nice welcome package, milk, bread,Wine, Beer, ETC, then left us to it, he was about if needed, Not been around this part of Yorkshire before, so LOTS to see and do, Thanks very much Gary.

We only booked the day before to extend our break up in North Yorkshire. Gary , the owner on site is so helpful and friendly. The lodge is spotlessly clean and is comfortable with a setting which is amazing , so peaceful and relaxing. It is not far to Malton but you could arrive with no provisions as the ' welcome pack ' Gary leaves is one of the best we ever have had over the years staying in different cottages. We only had 2 nights but will definitely be back

On arrival,Gary the owner very,very welcoming.Really helpful.Extremely friendly.Nothing too much trouble. Lodge beautifully presented.Spotlessly clean. Welcome pack above and beyond.Supporting local Yorkshire produce. Lovely garden,plenty of places to sit.Undercover balcony.We had beautiful weather.So we made the most of the outdoor facilities.Fantastic bbq. Everything you need for the perfect getaway. Set in a quite Yorkshire village.We did visit the local pub for a drink.Very friendly people. A short drive to many Yorkshire sites. We will definitely return.
